Do not live in the past,
For memories forever last,
Let the deceased rest,
Or they will eat you like pests,
Remove thy guilt,
Only then will your world tilt
The fiery river swelling with anger, bursting from the mountain,
The yellow ball rising and expelling a light fountain,
The rust forming over the days, I am counting,
When things are enjoyable, time speeds past,
When things are dull, time eternally lasts,
And there is nothing to be done for the tedious times to go fast,
A loved one's death that everyone accepts,
While the ghost suffers from loneliness,
From apes to humans, we progress,
Time is cruel,
Time is merciless,
Time is change
The light shining in the most darkest places,
Facing the most grotesque faces,
That with one flicker of light, they held up their maces,
And smashed the darkness into pieces.
The once hideous now the most captivating,
Who shouldered their burdens and are now living,
Their mind that was once a cruel maze,
Now enchanted in a joyful daze.
Leaving behind all their fears,
Walking swiftly with their peers,
While holding back their tears,
Toward the light that held their dears.
